Our 12 pack starter sets should cover the width of most houses.  Count the lines on the sidewalk in front of your house - a simple spacing rule is one bag per line.  If you need more for a wider lot or to light the path to your front door too, just order another set of 12.  You can share extras with your neighbors or have some replacements for future years. 

Luminaries For Love offers a complete 12 pack starter set for new customers:  12 candles, 12 bags (brown or white), 12 pre-filled weighted bases, & 12 drip protectors.

The most unique part of our product is the self-contained pre-filled weighted base ( 5.5″ x 3.25″ x 1.75″H).  No more battling sand and trying to fill bags in the cold or making a mess in your house.  Our 1.5 lb. base fits perfectly into the bottom of your white or brown bag & cleans up easily.  The best part is you can save the bases (with shipping box to store) and re-use them in future years!

We offer both brown & white bags in size 10 (6&5/16" x 4&3/16" x 13&3/8"H).  Large size provides optimal light capture and allows for traditional top roll down.  Subtly stamped on one side with our red Luminaries for Love logo to let everyone know you support our cause.  Brown provides a warm feel while white adds some extra elegance.  Either color makes a stunning impact on the sidewalk in front of your house!

Big bright  white luminary candles that can stay lit  for 12 hours!  Our candles fit securely into an indent in our base to remain upright & give you the longest lasting, safest light.  Less chance of burning bags, or a bag that goes dark early in the night.  While these candles are relatively drip free, we have added an aluminum foil drip protector to give you the best chance of long light while causing less damage to your re-useable bases.  

We can't control the weather - ideally luminaries work best on a calm, dry, dark night.  Ours are extra stable, with a 1.5lb base.  If conditions are going to be windy, fold down the top & be sure to place the base across the width of the bag to keep the sides as far away as possible from the flame.  You can add more weight to the base by putting extra sand, rock, etc. in the bag. You can even add water inside the base! 

Our yard signs are informative, bold, and bright - on both sides!  You've probably seen them on street corners in the C.A.G.E. or in Wilmette, IL store windows promoting our cause.  Now you can display your own with a 24"W x 18"H standard size sign.  Show your neighbors that you support Luminaries for Love.  Includes metal stake (order soon to install before ground freezes!)

We went to the hardware store, walked around, couldn't find the right  luminary supplies, had to ask someone for help, struggled with a 50lb bag of sand, had to load everything into and unload everything out of our car...

We've all seen people battling to fill bags with sand in the dark, making a mess inside or out in the cold, and trying to clean up piles of frozen sand and wax the next morning....
