We are searching for Block Leaders to join the Luminaries for Love Team!
Use the Block Leader PDF letter below on this page (or create your own) to take ownership of your block. YOU can be the one to mobilize every house to set up Luminaries For Love on Christmas Eve (or any other date you coordinate) in your neighborhood.
Encourage those who use our website to enter your name in the BLOCK LEADER field on our order form. If your name appears on 10 people’s orders you will get listed on this page as an official Luminaries For Love Block Leader. Great to put on a resume for summer jobs, college applications, etc.
We hope you will feel our passion and will work with us to light up your block for a great cause. As an added incentive, if your name appears on 50 orders, you will be able to designate a $500 donation to the charity of your choice through Luminaries for Love. We’ll put a picture and story about you and why you chose that organization in our CHARITIES page after the New Year!
We are always open to people getting involved with Luminaries For Love even if you don’t reach the 10 or 50 order Block Leader goal. Let us know via email or our chat icon if you are interested in donating your time to help our great charities.
Block Leaders can order Luminaries for Love yard signs (available on our website) to help promote our cause. You can also decorate blank yard signs from a hardware store with your own details about being a Block Leader and notifying neighbors about the night you want your block to participate.
You could even offer to set up the luminaries for people on your block! Think of other ways to provide more visibility so your neighbors recognize you as their Block Leader on their Luminaries For Love orders. We're even giving out flyers to trick or treaters on Halloween!
